My adopted bundle of joy: Meet Luna

I adopted this beautiful Domestic Shorthair kitten from the adoption center right across the street from my apartment complex back in May. She was just 8 weeks old, and less than 2 pounds when I first brought her home. She is now 5 months old and 5 pounds, and a wonderful bundle of craziness! Before adopting her, I have never owned a pet, so I was nervous and stressed out the for the first couple of weeks. We both had to get used to each other and learn from each other. My initial worries of what, when, and how to feed her are long gone. What is that phrase that people say about cats; Humans live to be a cats slave or something? But anyway, that initial period of doubt and uncertainty are gone, and we are living together just fine. I did not realize I was going to get so attached to her! I  love when she jumps on my head in the morning to feed her. I love when she bites me for attention. I love when she cuddles next to me while I'm reading. I love my kitten Luna!
